As part of our ongoing staff development commitment, all applicants MUST complete the following onboarding as part of our Application Process.
Topic 1: Theory Based learning through our eLearning Platform Topic 2: Specialised training for front line security operatives and those that work within public space events – provided through the Protect UK Website.
Competency Based Assessment: Undertake a Theory Based Knowledge Examination covering Topics 1 & 2 on submission of a completed application form.

TOPIC 1 - eLearning through our LMS Platform
THEORY BASED LEARNING THROUGH OUR ELEARNING PLATOFRM HOSTED ON OUR WEBSITE – WHICH COVERS THE STEWARDING JOB ROLE, STEWARDING RESPONSIBLITIES AND REQUIREMENTS.
THIS WILL ALSO COVER THE SAFETY SPECIFIC ASPECT OF STEWARDING.
To access the eLearning Platform, you will first need to visit and register for a Learner Account through our website.
Once you have registered your learner account and have verified your email address you will be able to log in.
When logged in, navigate to the eLearning tab, and select “View Courses“
You will then be able to select and begin the “New Applicants – Competency” course.
NOTE: You should spend adequate time reviewing the information contained within the EdApp Training. This covers safety critical information, that you should be able to recite should there be a need for it during an event.
TOPIC 2 - ACT
Specialised eLearning for front line operatives and those that work within public space events – provided through the Protect UK Website covering topics surrounding Terrorism.
ACT Awareness & ACT Security is free, specialised training for front line security operatives and those that work within public space events. The custom-built training provides up-to-date counter-terrorism knowledge to help operatives prepare for and respond to terrorist incidents whilst on duty.
These course will take around 1 hour 15 mins to complete and can be done in the comfort of your own homes.
Its flexible delivery will allow you to pause and save progress.
To complete the ACT Awareness & ACT Security E-Learning Courses, you will need to register a Student account on ProtectUK :
After you have successfully registered, you will be able to login and access training for both ACT Awareness & ACT Security.
ONLY AFTER YOU HAVE COMPLETED TOPICS 1 & 2 ABOVE SHOULD YOU RETURN YOUR COMPLETED APPLICATION FORM TO OUR OFFICE.
